On August 10, 2025, during the state visit to South Korea, General Secretary Tô Lâm had a cordial meeting with founders and investors from various private and non-governmental organizations from South Korea currently operating in Vietnam.
Among the distinguished guests was Dr. Kim Chulsoo, Chairman of H+ Yangji Hospital, the parent hospital of the H PLUS International Medical Center in Hanoi.
The Chairman’s participation reaffirmed H+ Yangji Hospital’s central role in the Korean healthcare sector and showcased the H+ Medical Group’s strong commitment to strengthening medical collaboration between the two nations. Meanwhile, the Korean Red Cross has a long history of cooperation with the Vietnam Red Cross, carrying out a variety of projects. In 2023, with support from Korean enterprises, it implemented disaster risk reduction programs and youth capacity-building initiatives. In partnership with the Korean Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the International Federation of Red Cross and Red Crescent Societies (IFRC), the organization has also engaged in ODA (Official Development Assistance) projects.
