Recommended candidates for endoscopy include individuals with persistent digestive symptoms such as abdominal pain, bloating, indigestion, rectal bleeding; those with a history of ulcers, polyps, or GERD; people with a family history of digestive cancers; and adults aged 40 and older, who should undergo routine screening every 1–2 years.

• TXI (Texture and Color Enhancement Imaging): enhances visualization of early or subtle precancerous lesions that may be missed under standard white light.
• NBI (Narrow Band Imaging): uses specific blue and green wavelengths (415nm and 540nm) that are absorbed by hemoglobin, offering high-resolution images of mucosa and blood vessels. This allows early detection of inflammation, ulcers, and abnormal tissue.
• RDI (Red Dichromatic Imaging): combines blue, amber, and red light to highlight active bleeding points and visualize deeper blood vessels beneath the mucosal surface – especially useful in emergency bleeding scenarios.
• Optical magnification: provides zoom capabilities of up to hundreds of times, allowing detailed inspection and precision diagnosis.
